In October 12, 1492 the real war against terror, waged by the indigenous people of the continent now called the Americas, began. It has not ended in the 519 years since.

On that day some European named Christopher Columbus washed up on the shores of our Taíno brothers and sisters in the Bahamas. However, unlike the European of today who go there for sun, sand and liquored beverages served by colonially enslaved Africans, this European was one seriously fucking lost guy (he was so lost that we are not even sure where he was from)! If you can believe it this guy was actually on his way to China!

Much to the fortune of the Chinese Christopher ran into us first. It was of course anything but a fortunate encounter for us.

    totally off topic here sorry –
    Ali with the great Will Smith played on tv lastnight and right after that was The Greatest – never saw that movie before and had no idea that the man himself starred in his own movie..  wow and he really is a great actor.. (well I thought so anyway)

    • Good morning Domino! I’ve seen Ali before with Will Smith — great film. Haven’t seen The Greatest — will have to check it out. 

      As for Will Smith — I’m pretty confident that he will be tapped to play Obama when the time comes!

      Hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday in Canada!  Btw, I always forget — are you in Montreal or Toronto?  If the latter, pretty soon I will be two hours away from you.

        I am about 4 hrs north of Toronto..

        • No…I’m moving to Buffalo…and the best thing about Buffalo is Toronto! :-D  The proximity might inspire me to drive into Toronto on the weekends for leisure and play.

            A few years back we would have been neighbours – I lived 20 min from Niagara Falls for 10 years….

            as for Will Smith playing Obama…   yes yes yes :) lol
