According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, conservative blogger Andrew Breibart has posted edited videos of lectures by labor studies professors at the University of Missouri ostensibly appearing to advocate union violence, thereby falsely misrepresenting them as inciters of violence (i.e., unprotected speech). Not only were distorted depictions of educators published, but images of students were posted without their permission. The pot calling the kettle black, Breibart is notorious for these Rovian/Machiavellian tactics and dissemination of propaganda. This sort of smear/demonization campaign should give folks pause.
