As 2011 draws to a close and we get ready to ring in 2012, CMP would like to wish you a bright, healthy, and prosperous new year. May joy, blessings, clarity and abundance follow you throughout 2012.

2012 will be a challenging year with regard to achieving desired electoral outcomes locally and nationally, fighting against GOP voter suppression efforts, and getting out the vote. CMP is fully committed to getting President Barack Obama elected in November.

As we have a long road ahead of us, CMP wishes you all safe celebrations and quiet respite before the electoral marathon begins. As we focus on the presidential election, let’s continue to organize locally around concrete causes that dismantle hierarchies based on race, gender, sexual orientation, and other markers of difference.
