PDFSaturday, July 28th will be 100 days until election day. To mark this, supporters of the President nationwide are participating in a day of Action to support President Obama’s reelection. There are two ways you can get involved:
1) Travel to Pennsylvania to assist with voter registration and voter contact. With a new ID law on the books, it’s important to register and educate as many voters as possible well in advance of election day. Buses will leave NYC in the morning of the 28th for the Philadelphia area and return around 8pm that evening. If you are interested in making the trip, or have any questions, please contact RSVP@nydlc.org with the subject line “Bus Trip”.
2) Phone bank from New York City. We will be running a phone bank from OFA HQ in Manhattan to recruit attorneys for the July 28th Day of Action. This is an important outreach opportunity and will lead directly to boots on the ground in critical Pennsylvania neighborhoods.
