Must See Video: MHP Smacks Down Dumbass GOP Parrot Monica Mehta on Poverty, Welfare

MHP had a brilliant show this morning. Fantastic discussion. GOP parrot Monica Mehta’s staggering ignorance and parroting of unsupported GOP talking points had me retorting at the TV rather vigorously all morning. But MHP and the rest of the panel was having none of it.

Monica needs to be educated on a few facts. For example, more jobs have been created at more than twice the rate under Democratic administrations than under GOP administrations. That includes President Obama.

Second, the majority of public assistance recipients are white. Many have jobs that don’t earn enough income to put food on the table. Mehta’s critical thinking skills and understanding of history are obviously lacking. She should be embarrassed, since poverty of the mind is the second to worst kind.

MHP:

“What is riskier than living poor in America? Seriously! What in the world is riskier than being a poor person in America? I live in a neighborhood where people are shot on my street corner. I live in a neighborhood where people have to figure out how to get their kid into school because maybe it will be a good school and maybe it won’t. I am sick of the idea that being wealthy is risky. No. There is a huge safety net that whenever you fail will catch you and catch you and catch you. Being poor is what is risky. We have to create a safety net for poor people. And when we won’t, because they happen to look different from us, it is the pervasive ugliness.”

    Human dignity DEMANDS a 100% tax and equal sharing. If some silly ass wants to work, let them. But none of that I am better than you crap. All people are equal. We all have a genetic predisposition to do what we want. But not all of us are OCD workaholics destine to live unhappy lives. Only a few mentally defective types can support the whole world. But only if we stop those ants from hoarding all the goodies. Remember that fable is BS because its always springtime and summer in somewhere in the world. Someone always wants to work. Either the system can support everyone forever or its going to fail no matter how anyone sacrifices. If its going to fail we all better party up and die together. Because if someone survies that is just not fair sharing. Some one cheated. And people should be free to live where ever they want and the world should just pay the cost to make their dream possible – none of that “too many people trying to live in a desert climate”. BS we got technology. Just open the pocketbooks and spend some money. All that money just goes into soembody else pocket book and should get taxes back to the use of the whole world. There ain’t nothing that cannot be accomplished TODAY or at least the next 2 years if people jsut stop hoarding and worrying about where moeny goes. Its does not go anywhere. money cannot be destroyed no matter how much you use it. Not unless a government burns it up in some stupid law.
